Here’s what the 369 Method actually did, and what it didn’t.

I have a complicated relationship with manifestation.

Part of me thinks, yes, set an intention, believe in yourself, romanticize your little life, write down what you want. The other part of me is sitting there like, okay, but are we seriously expecting the universe to read my notebook?

Still, I was curious.

I like little rituals. Especially the kind that make an ordinary day feel a tiny bit more intentional. Lately, I’ve also been trying to pay more attention to ordinary days instead of always waiting for something big and exciting to happen.

So when I kept seeing people talk about the 369 Method, I thought: fine. I’ll try it properly. Not for three days. Not for one enthusiastic Monday morning. Twenty-one days. And then I’ll tell you what actually happened.

First, what is the 369 Method?

The idea is very simple. You choose one intention and:

write it 3 times in the morning

write it 6 times in the afternoon

write it 9 times at night

And you do this for 21 days. That’s it.

No crystals. No special moon phase. No standing dramatically by a window at 5:47 a.m. Just a notebook and one intention you want to focus on.

What I actually wrote

This was probably the part I thought about the most.

I didn’t want to write something vague like “I am happy and successful.” My brain would have no idea what to do with that. I also didn’t want a huge list of everything I wanted from life. I wanted something I could actually picture and believe.

So I kept coming back to three things I really want to feel in my everyday life: peaceful, secure, free. And my intention became:

“I feel peaceful, secure, and free.”

That’s it. I liked how simple it was.

I could picture what those feelings looked like in my actual life. Having a calm mind. Feeling secure about my life and future. Having enough freedom to enjoy my days instead of constantly feeling rushed or worried.

It also meant I wasn’t telling myself exactly how my life had to turn out. I just knew how I wanted it to feel.

And then I started writing it.

Days 1–7: This is going to take forever

The first morning was lovely. I had my notebook. I wrote the sentence three times. I felt quite intentional and peaceful.

Then afternoon came. Six times. Okay, still manageable. Then night. Nine times.

By about the seventh repetition I was thinking, yes, yes, I know. Peaceful, secure, free. We established this.

This was the first thing I noticed about the 369 Method: it is repetitive. But that’s also what makes it interesting.

Because when you write the same three words over and over, you start thinking about what they actually mean to you. And I started noticing little things during the day that I normally wouldn’t have paid much attention to.

Days 8–14: I started thinking about it without the notebook

This was when the exercise became more interesting. I wasn’t just writing the words anymore. I was thinking about them.

If something stressed me out, I’d think about peaceful. If I was worrying about something I couldn’t control, I’d think about secure. If I felt like I was putting off something I wanted to do, I’d think about free.

The intention started becoming a little mental check-in. I began asking myself things like:

Does this actually make me feel peaceful?

Why am I worrying about this so much?

What would make me feel more secure?

What am I waiting for?

And those questions started changing small things.

Days 15–21: This is where I noticed the difference

By the third week, writing the sentence had become automatic. But the bigger change was that I was paying much more attention to my own choices.

I noticed what drained me. I noticed what made me feel good. I noticed things I had been putting off. And, most importantly, I started doing something about some of them.

That’s what I think the 369 Method did for me. It kept one idea in the front of my mind long enough for me to actually notice where my life was aligned with it and where it wasn’t.

Writing “I feel peaceful, secure, and free” didn’t mean I suddenly felt those things all the time. But it made me think about them every single day. And when you keep thinking about something, you start making different little choices around it.

So, did it work?

I wouldn’t say I finished Day 21 and suddenly had a completely different life. What changed was me.

The repetition made me clearer about what I wanted. It made me notice my thoughts, habits and choices. It made me pay attention to opportunities and small actions that fit the life I was trying to create.

And that is where I think the 369 Method gets useful. You write the intention. You keep thinking about it. You start noticing things. And then you act differently.

The intention gives your mind somewhere to go.

What I liked about it

The simplicity. I didn’t need an app, a course or an hour of journaling. Just a notebook.

The repetition. Writing the same thing every day made me think about it much more deeply than I expected.

The little pauses. Three times a day, I had to stop what I was doing and come back to myself for a minute.

The awareness. I became much more conscious of what was actually making me feel peaceful, secure and free—and what wasn’t.

What I didn’t like

Writing the same thing 18 times every day can get boring. There were definitely days when I forgot the afternoon session and had to do it later.

And I don’t think you need to treat every coincidence as a sign from the universe. Sometimes an email is just an email.

The point, for me, was never to sit around waiting for something to happen. It was to keep my intention in front of me and see what I did with it.

If you want to try it, here’s my 7-day version

You don’t need a special manifestation journal. Grab whatever notebook you already have, and choose one intention that describes how you want to feel. Then:

Morning — write it 3 times.

Afternoon — write it 6 times.

Night — write it 9 times.

And at the end of the day, ask yourself:

“What did I do today that made me feel a little more like this?”

That’s the part I would keep. Because writing the intention is only the beginning.

Would I do it again?

Yes.

Not because I think writing something down 378 times is going to magically rearrange my life. I liked what happened when I kept one simple intention in my mind for three weeks.

I became more aware of what I wanted. I noticed what wasn’t working. I paid more attention to the small things. And I actually started making changes.

For me, that’s the part worth keeping.

I feel peaceful.
I feel secure.
I feel free.

Three simple feelings. And for 21 days, I made myself pay attention to whether I was actually moving towards them.

That alone was pretty powerful.

A life where everything stops wobbling.

Green Madrigal (I) by Lynette Roberts
Peace, my stranger is a tree
Growing naturally through all its
Discomforts, trials and emergencies
Of growth.
It is green and resolved
It breathes with anguish
Yet it releases peace, peace of mind
Growth, movement.
It walks this greening sweetness
Throughout all the earth,
Where sky and sun tender its habits
As I would yours.

So apparently, I’ve spent years chasing peace like it’s a trophy.
You know, that fantasy where I’m living somewhere quiet, sipping tea, everything sorted. No chaos, no bad hair days, no people asking “Can I call you for five minutes?” (which is never five minutes).

That’s what I thought peace was.
A reward. A final destination.
A life where everything stops wobbling.

And then, I stumble upon this poem “Green Madrigal (I)” by Lynette Roberts.

Because Roberts basically says: peace is a tree. It doesn’t just stand there looking enlightened; it grows through mud, storms, droughts, and whatever nonsense the weather throws at it.

And that hit me.
Peace isn’t some magical state you unlock after paying your emotional taxes. It’s more like breathing half the time you don’t notice you’re doing it, and when you do, it’s probably because you’re hyperventilating.

I used to think peace meant being calm all the time like, permanently serene, always smiling from within, glowing gently like I’ve achieved inner nirvana and good lighting.
But then life reminded me that some days are just plain garbage. Some days, peace is just not throwing your phone across the room.

Turns out, peace and pain are roommates.
They coexist, argue over dishes, and somehow make the place livable.

It’s not the prize at the end of the storm. It’s the part of you that holds the umbrella while it’s raining sideways.

And yes, peace can show up when things are actually good too sitting in the sun, eating mangoes, realizing for one shining second that you’re not overthinking anything.
That’s peace too. It just feels softer, sweeter less like survival, more like gratitude.

In calm times, peace is rest.
In rough times, peace is grit.
Same peace, different outfit.

In pain, it holds you steady.
In joy, it lets you breathe.

Peace isn’t about feeling good all the time it’s about feeling okay enough even when things are bad. It’s that quiet sense that, “Yeah, this sucks, but I’ll survive. I can handle this. I’m still me.”

It must be something that completely immerses me, blending into my very being and filling me with a radiant joy. For me, that something is often found in the pages of a good book.

I love a good book. To me, a good book is one that carries the heart and soul of its author, where words overflow with genuine emotion, bringing a sense of fulfillment and self-discovery. Such books reveal the layers of people, instilling sympathy and maturity through well-crafted characters and meaningful stories. If I’m investing my time, I want a book that offers insights and fuels my brain or simply makes me feel good.

I avoid dark, pessimistic themes. I prefer books that entertain while also provoking thought and leaving a lasting impression. I’m a picky reader, just getting started on my journey, and after reading around 150 books (though I didn’t finish all), I’ve learned that I despise boring books that go nowhere.

These are my top picks, chosen because they inspire and uplift. So, let’s get started in no particular order:

The Courage to Be Disliked by Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga

This book is a game-changer! It helps you realize that every problem we face boils down to interpersonal issues. You can’t control everything, and you don’t need to! If you feel insecure, let others affect your mood, or absorb their energy, this book will show you how to break free from that cycle.

What to Expect: A mind-opening read that shifts your perspective on personal freedom, confidence, and relationships.Themes: Self-empowerment, personal growth, overcoming societal pressure, independence, happiness.

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin

This one’s a must-read fiction gem! Not only is it a great escape into a world filled with fascinating characters and plots, but it also gives you a deep understanding of people, the situations life throws at us, and most importantly, about love and all its forms. This book is like a warm hug in literary form. A little tip: don’t start with this one if you’re new to fiction because it sets the bar so high that other books might not feel as satisfying afterward.

What to Expect: A beautifully written, emotional rollercoaster with complex characters and a deep exploration of relationships.Themes: Friendship, love, passion, gaming culture, loss, ambition.

The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran

Although the title sounds philosophical, this short book can be finished in one sitting and answers all of life’s big questions. It covers everything from love and marriage to children, work, freedom, and death. It’s full of profound insights that make you reflect on life, journal your thoughts, and question your beliefs. Each time you read it, you’ll find something new to understand and appreciate. The wisdom you gain from this book makes it an invaluable read.

What to Expect: A poetic, thought-provoking read that offers wisdom applicable to all aspects of life.Themes: Love, purpose, spirituality, wisdom, self-reflection.

The Defining Decade: Why Your Twenties Matter—And How to Make the Most of Them Now by Meg Jay

If you’re in your 20s, or really any age, this book is packed with practical advice on how to make the most of your life. Whether you’re focusing on social improvements, career growth, or relationships, this book provides great ideas to help you navigate it all. Juggling these aspects can be tough, but The Defining Decade offers clear and actionable guidance to make things easier and more manageable. It’s a must-read for anyone looking to improve their life and make the most of their current phase.

What to Expect: A practical, motivating book with life-changing insights for young adults.Themes: Career, relationships, personal development, decision-making, life transitions.

Foster by Claire Keegan

Yet another short book that I love! Short books often pack a deeper meaning, and this one is no exception. Foster tells the story of an orphan girl who gets a new home, but it’s not as simple as it sounds. It’s sweet, emotional, and provides a deep understanding of the lives of people in foster care.

What to Expect: A beautifully written, quiet yet powerful story that lingers in your mind.Themes: Family, belonging, childhood, love, emotional resilience.

Rework by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson

If you’re into starting your own business or need inspiration to get started, Rework is the book for you. It’s filled with smart advice for making a business successful. It’s short but packed with so many insights that I found myself highlighting almost every page. Follow its advice, and you’ll find it makes so much sense.

What to Expect: A no-nonsense, straight-to-the-point business book with unconventional but practical advice.Themes: Entrepreneurship, productivity, business strategy, innovation.

We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Don’t let the title fool you—this is a book everyone should read. It’s the only feminist book that I felt everyone would appreciate. It offers a clear, accessible perspective on feminism that is relatable and enlightening.

What to Expect: A short but impactful read that broadens your perspective on gender equality.Themes: Feminism, equality, social awareness, empowerment.

Not Nice by Dr. Aziz Gazipura

If you’re a people pleaser, YOU NEED TO READ THIS. Even if you’re not, give it a read because we all tend to please others at times. It’s a great guide to stop pleasing everyone and start being unapologetically yourself.

What to Expect: A powerful self-help book that helps you set boundaries and build confidence.Themes: Assertiveness, self-confidence, personal growth, boundary setting.

And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer by Fredrik Backman

This book made me smile and feel sentimental at the same time. It’s about a grandfather, his son, and his grandson, filled with memories and heartwarming moments. It reminds us to make time for creating memories with loved ones before things change.

What to Expect: A deeply emotional, heartfelt story that tugs at your heartstrings.Themes: Memory, family, love, loss, aging.

Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss

This is a children’s book, but it’s equally enjoyable and meaningful for adults. Give it a go—it only takes about 10 minutes to read, and you’ll find its message uplifting and inspiring.

What to Expect: A fun, whimsical, yet profoundly encouraging book for all ages.Themes: Adventure, personal growth, optimism, overcoming obstacles.

These books have left a mark on me, and I hope they do the same for you!

The ground wakes up, the air feels softer, and tiny tulips push through the soil, taking their first breath. Everything turns colorful again, fresh and new. The clouds cry happy tears, clearing away the winter blues, and the bright sun peeks through, stretching across the sky.

People step outside, soaking in the warmth they’ve missed. The air feels different—lighter, full of something you can’t quite name. Flowers sway with the wind, wind chimes start talking again, prayer flags flutter like they finally have something to say. The bells in the temples ring a little louder, and birds return, filling the mornings with sound.

There’s peace in the afternoons. Mornings are golden, soft, and slow. The sun kisses my skin just right, and in the evenings, I sit outside, letting my hair dry in the breeze. It’s the season of Vitamin D, the perfect warmth—nothing too harsh, nothing too cold. Not quite winter, not quite spring, and definitely not fall. It’s that in-between time, the quiet magic before everything bursts into full bloom.

And the wind—it moves through everything, wrapping around you like it’s carrying a secret. It makes the world feel new, like anything could happen.

Let’s face it: simply repeating “I’m rich” or “I’m healthy” a hundred times a day isn’t going to magically transform your life. If you’ve tried it, you might have wondered, “Is this even doing anything?”

The truth is, affirmations only work when they connect with your emotions. It’s not just about the words—it’s about how those words make you feel.

But what if there was a way to create affirmations so powerful, they ignite your passion and drive you to take action? What if your affirmations could light a fire under your dreams?

In this post, I’ll guide you through a simple and fun method to craft personalized affirmations that are emotional, impactful, and tailored to your life. Ready to make affirmations that actually work? Let’s get started!

Step 1: Discover Your Dream Feelings with the “Feelings Treasure Hunt”

Crafting effective affirmations begins with uncovering the emotions you truly want to experience in different areas of your life. Instead of focusing on what’s wrong or what you want to fix, let’s focus on the feelings you want to experience every day.

How to Play the Feelings Treasure Hunt

Draw Six Circles: On a piece of paper, draw six circles and label them with these life areas:

Health

Career

Relationships

Finances

Personal Growth

Fun & Leisure

Write Down Dream Feelings: For each area, write 1-3 feelings you would love to experience. These feelings should be the ones you want to experience for the rest of your life. They’ll help you focus on your emotional “treasures” rather than what’s missing.

Examples:

Health: Energized, strong, vibrant

Career: Fulfilled, successful, creative

Relationships: Loved, connected, secure

Pick Your Favorite Feeling: Now, go through each circle and highlight the feelings that excite you the most. These feelings will form the foundation for your affirmations.

Why This Works: Focusing on your core feelings allows you to tap into the emotional energy behind your goals. It’s this energy that drives action and change.

Step 2: Craft Affirmations That Spark Emotion and Action

Now that you’ve identified your dream feelings, it’s time to turn them into powerful, motivating affirmations.

The 3-Step Formula for Affirmations

Start with the Feeling: Use the feeling you circled as the core of your affirmation.

Make It Present and Positive: Speak as if it’s already true.

Add Gratitude: Gratitude amplifies the emotional impact of your affirmation.

Pro Tip: Keep it simple, emotional, and positive. Avoid using negative language.

Examples of Powerful Affirmations:

Health: “I feel vibrant and full of energy every single day.”

Career: “I am deeply fulfilled and excited by my creative work.”

Relationships: “I am surrounded by love, connection, and joy.”

Step 3: Make Affirmations Part of Your Daily Ritual (And Make It Fun!)

Here’s where the magic happens: turning your affirmations into a daily ritual that feels effortless and enjoyable. The more fun and engaging you make it, the more effective your affirmations will be.

Create Your Affirmation Audio

Hearing your affirmations in your own voice makes them more impactful. Here’s how to create your own affirmation audio (for free!):

Record yourself reading your affirmations aloud on your phone.

Add calming background music using free tools like Audacity or GarageBand.

Save the audio and listen while walking, working, or relaxing.

When to Use Your Affirmations:

Morning Boost: Start your day by repeating your affirmations to set a positive tone.

Nighttime Calm: Listen before bed to prime your subconscious for positive change.

On the Go: Play your affirmations during a walk, workout, or commute.

Step 4: Specific Affirmations for Your Goals

If you’re unsure where to start, here are tailored affirmations for common goals to get you inspired:

Health Affirmations:

“I am deeply in tune with my body and honor it with love and care.”

“Every cell in my body vibrates with energy and health.”

Wealth Affirmations:

“I attract money effortlessly and use it to create joy and freedom.”

“I am grateful for the endless opportunities to grow my wealth.”

Relationship Affirmations:

“I am deserving of deep, loving, and fulfilling relationships.”

“I attract positive, supportive people into my life.”

Step 5: Supercharge Your Affirmations

Want to make your affirmations even more impactful? Try these tips to supercharge your emotional connection and help your affirmations work faster:

Feel It in Your Body: Smile, breathe deeply, or place your hand on your heart while repeating your affirmations. This physical connection enhances the emotional power.

Journal Them Daily: Write your affirmations every morning to reinforce them in your mind and heart.

Pair Them with Visualization: While repeating your affirmations, visualize yourself already living them. Imagine yourself healthy, glowing, and energized while affirming, “I feel vibrant and full of energy.”

Make Affirmations Work for You

Affirmations are not magic spells—they are tools to help align your emotions, thoughts, and actions. When rooted in genuine feelings, personalized to your life, and practiced daily, affirmations can become powerful catalysts for transformation.

Start today with the “Feelings Treasure Hunt,” craft affirmations that excite you, and watch them guide you toward the life you’ve always dreamed of. Remember, it’s not just about repeating words—it’s about feeling them deeply and living them every single day.

Boost your mood, enhance your well-being, and invite joy and good vibes effortlessly.

Your home is more than just four walls—it’s a sanctuary, a place where you rest, rejuvenate, and find comfort. Infusing your living space with positivity and good energy can improve not only your mood but also your health and overall well-being. The great news? You don’t need to follow complicated rules to create a home filled with abundance and prosperity. By trusting your intuition and adding personal touches, you can make your space a true reflection of joy and harmony. Let’s explore simple, practical ways to fill your home with good vibes.

1. Energise Your Entrance: A Gateway to Positivity

The entrance is the first point of contact between your home and the outside world—a symbolic gateway where energy flows in. Think of it as your home’s identity.

Tips to Make Your Entrance Inviting:

Personalize Your Entry way: Add elements that represent who you are and how you want to feel. This might be a favorite piece of art, a meaningful symbol, or a welcoming plant. I remember visiting a friend who placed a beautiful handmade wreath at her door. She said it reminded her of warmth and love every time she came home—such a simple, personal touch that made all the difference.

Keep It Clean and Clutter-Free: A tidy entrance allows energy to flow freely. Clear away shoes, unnecessary items, and any broken or unused objects.

Choose a Welcoming Doormat: Opt for a mat with positive or meaningful words that make you smile.

Remember: There is no universal rule for what you must place at your entrance—trust your feelings. If something brings you peace and joy, it belongs there.

2. Declutter for Mental Clarity and Energy Flow

Clutter blocks the natural flow of energy, creating confusion and stagnation in your home and mind. Decluttering helps refresh the energy in your space.

Simple Decluttering Strategies:

Sort Your Belongings: Create three categories—keep, donate, discard—and go through each room systematically. When I decluttered my study corner recently, I was amazed at how clearing out old papers immediately made the room feel lighter and more focused.

Separate Incoming and Outgoing Items: Dedicate spaces for bills, mail, and documents to keep financial energy flowing smoothly.

Manage Clothing Energy:

Place outdoor-worn clothes aside before mixing them with fresh laundry. This simple practice prevents outside energy from mingling with the purity of your home.

Tip: Avoid letting sentimental attachments turn into clutter. Keep what brings true joy and let go of the rest.

3. Re-Energize Stagnant or Heavy Spaces

Every home has areas that feel neglected or heavy—those corners or rooms where no one lingers. Identifying and refreshing these spaces can uplift the entire house.

Ways to Re-Energize Heavy Spaces:

Scan Your Home with Fresh Eyes: Walk through each room and note where energy feels stuck. I once realized my hallway felt unusually heavy until I placed a small plant there and started using essential oil spray regularly. The difference in feeling was instant.

Refresh with Elements You Believe In:

Use sage, incense, or essential oils for cleansing.

Spritz water with a few drops of citrus or lavender oil to refresh the air.

Place living plants to breathe life into stale corners.

Use Mirrors: Mirrors reflect and amplify light, creating a sense of vibrancy.

Pro Tip: The key is belief. Whatever method resonates with you will work best—trust your intuition.

4. Infuse Intent and Energy into Every Corner

Objects hold energy, and your personal energy can transform any space into one of positivity and purpose.

How to Infuse Personal Energy:

Be Mindful of Placement: Place items with intention. Choose symbols or objects that align with your goals—whether they represent peace, prosperity, or love.

Create a Vision Board: Display your aspirations in a central spot to keep your intentions visible. My vision board in my workspace keeps me motivated, and I’ve noticed how seeing my goals every day keeps my energy aligned with them.

Write Affirmations: Frame positive statements that inspire you and place them in key areas of your home.

Example: A family photo that brings warmth and joy can be a source of positive energy in a living room or hallway.

5. Balance the Elements: Plants, Colors, and Textures

Nature has a powerful ability to balance energy within a home. Incorporating plants, colors, and textures that resonate with you can transform your space into a calming retreat.

Tips to Balance Natural Elements:

Bring in Greenery:

Snake plants and peace lilies purify the air and enhance vitality.

Fresh flowers add beauty and vibrancy.

Choose Colors Wisely:

Soft, calming tones like blues and greens promote relaxation.

Warm hues like yellows and oranges evoke joy and creativity.

Play with Textures:

Soft cushions, cozy throws, and wooden furniture add warmth and comfort.

Remember: Your choices should reflect how you want to feel—serene, energized, or inspired.

6. Create Intentional Flow in Daily Living Spaces

Energy flow isn’t just about physical objects; it’s about how you organize your daily life. Aligning your spaces with specific functions can create harmony.

Align Energy Flow with Intent:

Separate Opposing Energies:

Keep financial documents like checkbooks and investment records in distinct, organized areas.

Dedicate separate spaces for work, relaxation, and play.

Create Rituals:

Use music, candles, or aromatherapy to transition between activities.

Establish a calming evening routine to promote restful energy in the bedroom.

Conclusion

Your home is a reflection of your inner world. By bringing intentionality, personal touches, and positive energy into your living space, you can create a sanctuary that nurtures abundance, happiness, and well-being. Start small, trust your instincts, and enjoy the process of transforming your home into a haven of positivity. What changes will you make today to invite more good energy into your space?

I had tried every manifestation technique I knew—visualizations, affirmations, even scripting my dreams. Nothing worked. My goals seemed to drift further away. Then I realized something: I was holding onto resentment. Unresolved anger was weighing me down.

That’s when everything changed. Forgiveness became the secret ingredient that unlocked the door to my dreams.

If you’ve felt stuck despite your best manifestation efforts, forgiveness might be the missing piece for you too.

Why Forgiveness is Crucial for Manifestation

Forgiveness isn’t about excusing someone’s actions or letting them off the hook. It’s about freeing yourself from the chains of resentment that quietly drain your energy. Imagine carrying a heavy backpack filled with rocks—every unresolved hurt is a stone. Forgiveness lets you put the backpack down, lightening your spirit and creating space for positive energy to flow.

The Science Behind Forgiveness

Studies show that unresolved resentment activates stress responses, flooding your body with cortisol, a stress hormone linked to emotional and physical exhaustion. In contrast, practicing forgiveness reduces stress, boosts emotional clarity, and aligns you with the higher frequencies of abundance.

Statistic: “80% of participants in forgiveness therapy studies report improved emotional well-being within 4 weeks.”

How Forgiveness Enhances Manifestation

Therapeutic forgiveness is about releasing anger and resentment for your own healing. It’s not about the other person—it’s about your freedom. When you let go, you reclaim emotional power, allowing you to focus your energy on manifesting your desires.

A Simple Yet Powerful Forgiveness Practice: Ho’oponopono

One of the most effective forgiveness techniques is Ho’oponopono, a Hawaiian method that works on deep emotional levels. It uses four simple phrases:

I’m sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

How to Practice Ho’oponopono

Choose someone or a situation that triggers pain or resentment.

Picture them surrounded by healing light.

Slowly repeat the four phrases, directing them towards the person or memory.

You don’t need their participation—it’s about transforming your inner world.

Quote fromNot Nice:

“Forgiveness isn’t about them; it’s about you reclaiming your emotional power.”

A Personal Reflection: My Forgiveness Journal Entry

Forgiveness isn’t just a concept—it’s a practice that transforms lives. Here’s a deeply personal reflection I wrote during my own journey to forgiveness:

I think we need to accept it and just forgive. I forgive you. I know you have hard times, and that’s why you behave that way sometimes. Maybe you get random scoldings or face other challenges, and your mindset wasn’t right. But deep down, all of us are made of similar cells—we are bodies with infinite souls, pure souls.

It’s the situations we face that take hold of us; they don’t truly define who we are. Who we are is much more private, unknown to ourselves, and divine. We are all energies connected. What we channel is often shaped by circumstances that make us act a certain way.

So, I forgive you for your circumstances, your karma, or the energy you put out that didn’t align with me. Now, I am creating a shield of pure energy and magic within me. I choose to rise to a higher vibrational state, unaffected by negativity.

I forgive you. It’s not you—it’s the belief patterns, processes, and upbringing you were exposed to, as well as the influence of other people and circumstances. Let me be the bigger person and let it go.

We are such small beings in the vastness of the galaxy. Is it truly worth holding onto these feelings? I refuse to let one moment of negativity define my day.

Instead, I choose peace. I don’t want to place any grief in your mind, as that won’t do any good for either of us. So, I forgive you. Peace.

What If You Can’t Forget?

Forgiveness doesn’t erase memories, but it changes their emotional charge. It allows you to revisit those memories with peace instead of pain.

Practical Tip: Whenever you recall the hurt, remind yourself: “I choose to release this pain for my peace.” Over time, the sting will fade.

Dealing With Recurring Negative Thoughts

Even after forgiving, old thoughts may resurface. That’s okay—it’s part of the process.

Here’s what to do:

Acknowledge the Thought: Label it as a lingering wound, not a present truth.

Redirect Your Focus: Replace it with a positive affirmation, like, “I am free and open to abundance.”

Revisit Ho’oponopono: Use the four phrases to reinforce emotional clarity.

Broader Examples

A Personal Example of Ho’oponopono in Action

When I felt betrayed by a close friend, I struggled to forgive. Using Ho’oponopono, I visualized her and repeated, “I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.” Over weeks, the bitterness dissolved. I didn’t forget what happened, but I gained peace and clarity.

What if I forgive but can’t forget?

Forgetting isn’t necessary; forgiveness changes how the memory affects you.

How do I forgive someone who never apologized?

Forgiveness is for your peace, not theirs. It frees you from the burden of resentment.

What if I’m not ready to forgive?

Forgiveness is a process. Start with the intention and small actions, like journaling your feelings.

How it makes you feel.
